Leather-bound Limited Edition – 333 copies
The Limited Edition book is leather-bound in premium white Nappa leather. It has a unique BMW Group South Africa “50 Years an Icon” badge on the cover, surrounded by a copper foiled Ndebele motif and an inlaid silk ribbon border with the Ndebele pattern on it. The spine has the “50 Years an Icon” badge and title of the book copper foiled onto it. On the inside cover of the book is a VIN plate (identical to that found in the 333i BMW), with the unique number of the book.
The book comes with a presentation box which is covered in the same premium white Nappa leather as the book.
The cover of the box also has the same unique BMW Group South Africa “50 Years an Icon” badge again surrounded by a copper foiled Ndebele motif and an inlaid silk ribbon border with the Ndebele pattern on it. The spine of the presentation box also has the “50 Years an Icon” badge and title of the book copper foiled onto it.
On the inside cover of the box is a plaque with all the names and signatures of the MDs/CEOs covered in the book. The inside cover of the box also carries a VIN plate, with the unique number of the book.
Over 95% of materials sourced and the processes followed to print and bind these books are made and completed in South Africa.
